Second day of the week, went for biceps/shoulders at home today, got weight plates for christmas, so now I can excercise at home any time 😀

Dumbbell curls, around 10-11kg each hand, some sets, some reps, till failure 😛

Military press, some weight, four sets, till failure

Barbell curls, 4-5 sets, till failure

Barbell upright row, 4 sets, till failure

Variation of the front raise, lift a dumbbell or weight plate over your head in a circular motion, and also to the sides. Alternate front and sides. 7,5kg, 4 sets, till failure

Concentrated dumbbell curls, 2 sets, till failure.

Gonna get in shape for summer now, have to work hard for 6 months.

Went for chest/triceps today =)

Some pushups and light dumbbell press for starters.

Bench press 38kg, 5-6 sets á 5-6 reps

Cable crossover, 10kg each hand, 5-6 sets, some reps, didn’t count 😛

Incline benchpress machine, 10kg each hand, 3 sets, till failure

Cable tricep extension, 32kg, 7-8 sets, till failure/aching muscles

This got me tired good, felt nice throughout. No new excercises this time, maybe next week ^^

12/10-10 Biceps & Shoulders

Today, I will post the first exercise-post on my blog.

First gym day of the week, went for biceps & shoulders today. Felt good, could have kept going for a couple more exercises, but my friend was finished so… Tried one new exercise for the shoulders, I will list the ones I did today below.

Biceps:

Normal dumbbell curls, warm up, 10kg each.

Bar curls, 5 sets, about 20kg I think.

Shoulders: Military press, roundabout 20+kg, 4 or 5 sets.

Dumbbell side shoulder raise, 7kg, 4 sets

Cable side shoulder raise, 5kg, 4 sets. This was the new one I tried, and it was great =D

Biceps & Shoulders:

Cable upright rows, 4 sets, about 30kg.

Some chin-ups ^_^

In this category, obviously, I’ll keep track of training days, results, and also tips about weightlifting for anyone who’s new to this type of training. I will post my favorite exercises for the entire body, both for beginners and intermediate weightlifters.

The logging will start next week, as it is already Wednesday night. Each training day I will post exercises I used, and hopefully try some new ones every week. The goal is to keep four-day weeks, hope I can keep that up, we’ll see.

Anyway, hope it’s gonna be fun reading for anyone strolling by this tiny blog in the big blog sea.
